Eventually.

Eventually Google and I will resolve our issues, and they will stop banning my account. It truly is a fun time.

Here is the latest batch of pictures:

And We Are Back On-Line

So, google and I finally worked out our issues, and our blog is back up and running. What a fun little time that was!

We have had so much happen since our last post! We are steadily working on our house on Donald St. Things are moving a long, but we never thought it would take this long. What a pipe dream. We thought we would live my parents for a maximum of 3 months - wow, were we wrong or what?! We have been here for just a little over 6 months, and have blown 3 deadlines of getting in the house. But there is good news - a lot of large projects happened, which will make our house that much better in the end.

Matt, Kyle, LaVerne (Matt's dad) and Doug (my dad) recently knocked down the wall between our kitchen and dining room. It is amazing how much more natural light flows through those two rooms now. It also helps with the "flow" of the first floor, so much more open now. The master bedroom is drywalled with the exception of the ceiling. We still lack a full bathroom, but once the master is done, that will be the next big project.

We are currently looking at a June 1st. move in, but who knows what will happen between now and then! I will upload pictures soon, Matt just installed Windows 7 (woohoo) so I have no clue where all of my stuff went!

We are off to Tulsa tomorrow, so check back for some awesome photos of our friends, and our fabulous new nephew, Archie. He is ADORABLE!

18 month update! (kind of...)

Just a picture update of how much Adri has grown! I will try to do a better update this weekend!

Hanging out at Art Beat 2009, and Adri of course made a new friend! Too bad we didn't get his name!!

Heading out to the Farmer's Market! It is our favorite way to spend Saturday morning by far!
Just hanging out in her car seat while we waited for Mimi!

We found this awesome Play-Hut system in our house! It was never taken out of the box, and Adri loves it!!

Almost 11 months!

In case you cannot tell, it is very difficult to get a picture of Adri without her hands or any toy in her mouth. And not just toys, but hair bows, shoes...anything really! You can't blame her though, she is teething like a maniac. She still only has seven teeth, but more are just around the corner!

Two for Two

What Princess doesn't thoroughly enjoy ruining holidays? Why should Adri been any different? On "Black Friday" the day of the Esau Thanksgiving, miss priss woke up in the wee hours screaming her head off. I remember Matt searching the pack-n-play only to grumble three minutes about the fact that she was screaming with the binky still in her mouth. He had my attention immediately. Matt brought Adri to bed with us and we soon realized we were in for little sleep with an angry baby. Her head was insanely warm to the touch and nothing calmed her down. We spent the rest of the day attempting to keep her naked and cool, but all she really wanted was to be held by daddy and left alone.

Of course by Christmas Eve she was completely back to her normal energetic self, and we figured Christmas would breeze by without any ailments. We could only be so lucky. We had a fun night with the Shelton's eatting chilli and wrapping presents and as Kelly was walking out the door I noticed goop in Adri's eyes. No. No. No. Not pink eye. Anything but pink eye. Ok, let's just sleep on it and see what happens in the morning. Worst. Idea. Ever. Adri woke up pretty stinkin mad because she could barely open her eyes. I told Matt that if it was pink eye I would suck it up and stay home with her so at least one of us could have a decent holiday. We quickly determined it was not pink eye (crisis averted), but she definitely had something going on it her eyes, and she sure as heck was not happy.

So we treck over to the Shelton's (are we seeing the Christmas theme?) where Jeremy determines she in fact does have an eye infection but thankfully it isn't pink eye. And for the most part Adri was completely normal, except for the fact that she looked like she had been crying for about 48 hours straight. So we attempted to take some "Christmas" pictures, and keeping the whole eye infection thing in mind, I don't think they turned out half bad. I am hoping I can photoshop them a bit, but here are the untouched images:

*you may also note the small scrape on the side of her nose, Adri decided to become adventorous (and annoying) one night at work and repeatedly rolled off a cushoin that sits a good 6-10 inches off the ground, smashing her face into the carpet each time. I have no clue where she gets that trait from, I mean, I never made it my goal to see just how bad I could drive my parents insane or anything. Sorry mom and dad.

and this is how you know when Adri is officially over it, she just kind of crawls away!

So now that little miss is all "better" she has decided to needs to try to feed herself. Well, if you had any questions as to how she keeps getting this eye infection, I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that she often rubs food in her eyes....yeah.

Adri has started doing this hilarious thing where she throws her arms up and screams at random times. That would be what those two pictures are where she kind of looks mad. She's just crazy. Don't worry.

And with that, goodnight. Hopefully I have made up for being MIA for 3 months. I promise I wont let it happen again, maybe.

Happy Holidays!

Is it really 2009? It feels like just yesterday we were hanging out in 2008. Huh. I don't know about you guys, but we had an amazing year and a great time celebrating the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. This past year was a crazy year for us. Some of our more memorable highlights include having Adri and Matt starting his own business in the month of April. What a roller coaster both of those events have been. We have learned many lessons and been blessed in amazing ways through them both.

Speaking of Adri, it is hard to believe that she is 9 months old. She is pulling up on everything, trying to walk more and more everyday, and much to Matt's dismay, only babbles the word momma. She is more than willing to stand at the edge of her crib every morning and talk while smacking her binky on the side of the crib until one of us gets up to get her and change her diaper. And then really she would be happy sitting in a shallow box of packing peanuts with her sippy cup if we would allow her such niceties.

I am really sorry that I have not updated in three months, but in all honesty, our lives our insane right now. Matt is working about 40 hours a week on top of running Blueview Creative, and I recently got a promotion that requires me to be at work more often as well. Adri absolutely loves daycare (most days). She likes her teachers and every time I check in on her she is standing at the same bookshelf just looking around the room and trying to decide if she wants to move or not. Pretty adorable.

She is currently working on getting six teeth. Yep, read it twice. SIX TEETH. This round might have gone by completely unnoticed by Adri except for the fact that soon after the teething nightmare started, she got an ear infection which just wont go away. We have to go back in two weeks to have it check on again. Other than her ears and teeth she is doing well. She is in the 50th percentile on height and head, but she definitely takes after her daddy and is in the 25th percentile on weight. Matt keeps teasing her that we need to bulk her up a little more. All she knows is she is getting more food, and she couldn't be happier about it.

So, we will ring in the New Year by showing you some of our (well, Meghan's since Matt is completely passed out) photographs of 2008 . . .

We love you all!
